Heating repair in Savannah
Coastal Georgia asks very little of a furnace, which is exactly the problem: a system that idles for eight months finds its weak point on the first thirty-degree night. We look at ignition, heat exchanger, airflow and controls as one system, then quote a flat rate before anything is touched.

What we get called for
- Heat pump running constantly without warming the house
- Furnace lights, runs briefly, then shuts down
- Cold air from the vents when the thermostat calls for heat
- A burning or metallic smell on the first run of the season
- Emergency heat running when the outdoor temperature does not call for it
- Loud boom at ignition, or a blower that will not stop
What we check
- Ignition and flame sensing, or reversing valve and defrost on a heat pump
- Heat exchanger condition and venting
- Refrigerant charge and auxiliary heat staging
- Blower condition, static pressure and filter restriction
- Thermostat configuration — a surprising share of no-heat calls are settings
- Electrical connections, contactors and safeties
Why heating matters here
Most homes on the coast run a heat pump, which means the same equipment that cooled you in August is heating you in January. Problems that look like heating failures are often cooling-side problems that were never caught — low charge, a restricted coil, ductwork leaking into an attic. We look at the whole machine, in both modes.

“Our AC stopped working around noon, and with temperatures already over 90 degrees, we knew we needed help fast… They had Chris at our home within an hour of our call… we signed up for their twice-yearly maintenance plan before Chris left.”
“Very transparent. Explained all my required repairs and provided a per repair breakdown for full consideration… Don't get ripped off, call these guys first.”
“After returning home from a trip, I walked into a hot house and realized my AC wasn't working. Even with everything he had going on, he took the time on a weekend to walk me through the troubleshooting process.”
Questions about heating repair
My heat pump blows cool air sometimes. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. Heat pumps deliver warm, not hot, air, and they run a defrost cycle that briefly feels cool. If the house is not holding temperature, call us — that is a real symptom.
Should I use emergency heat?
Only when the heat pump cannot keep up or has failed. Emergency heat is electric resistance and it is expensive to run. If it is coming on by itself, something needs attention.
