How we quote a system
- We walk the house: square footage, ceiling height, window exposure, insulation, how the rooms actually get used.
- We inspect the duct system, because a new condenser bolted to leaking ductwork buys you a quieter disappointment.
- We talk about coastal specifics — salt air eats outdoor coils and electrical connections, so coated coils and placement matter here more than inland.
- You get written options with efficiency, capacity, warranty and price side by side. No single take-it-or-leave-it number.
What we install
Goodman is the brand we install and the one we are factory trained on. We service all major brands, but what we put in is equipment we know line by line. We install straight-cool with gas or electric heat, heat pumps, dual-fuel, and ductless where ducting is impractical. Variable-speed equipment is worth real money in this humidity, and we will say so when it fits your house and skip it when it does not.
After the install
- Drop cloths down, old equipment hauled off, work area left clean.
- Startup readings documented: charge, static pressure, temperature split.
- Registration of the manufacturer warranty handled for you.
- Your first maintenance visit scheduled before we leave, because warranties expect maintenance and so does the equipment.

How long does a changeout take?
Most single-system replacements are a one-day job. Jobs that include ductwork, electrical changes or a second system run into a second day, and we tell you which one you have before we start.
What SEER2 should I buy?
In this climate the practical range for most homes is the mid-tier. Beyond that, the payback period starts to outrun how long people own their houses. We will show you the math for your house rather than selling the top of the line by default.
Will a bigger system cool better?
No. An oversized system satisfies the thermostat fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull humidity out of the air. You get a cold, clammy house. Correct sizing is the whole point.
